Holy shit, it’s Sunday! I’ve had a busy week, so I’ll keep this extremely short.  This wont happen again.

Games to look forward to (in no particular order):

Ghosts vs. Das Boot – Two Great teams from the William S. Burroughs pool.  Das Boot is a top five team, but The Ghosts are young and talented and will give them a good fight.

Red Lyon vs. Slowride – Red Lyon had a close game against The Blue Collar Rockets. I’m not sure if that means we’ve underestimated The Rockets or overhyped The Lyons, but Slowride is an athletic team that always has the potential to win.

Girls w/ LSE vs. Brew Ballers – Dirty Mike is coming off the greatest upset in KVKL Game of the Week history, and we’ll see if they can continue plowing through tough teams as they butt heads with the struggling Brew Ballers.

Los Luchadores vs. Chalmersiz – The former champs last opportunity to claim the number one spot in the John Brown Pool, and their first opportunity to prove that they’re still a top-tier team.  Chalmersiz always put on a good show and know how to have fun, but they will have their game faces on for this one–it’s all business from here on out for The Chalmersiz.

Free State Brewery vs. Replay Rowdies – Game of the Week – The less talked about upset last week was Free State Brewery over Mad Greek, proving that The Growlers have the talent and the ability to take down top teams.  The Rowdies seem like the easy pick to win it here, but as we found out last week, anything can happen under the lights.
