I hope you finish the regular season on a high note, whether that means having fun, winning, drinking, relaxing or all of the above. Instead of writing it 15 times, I will just put it up here: “This game can go either way…”
POOL 1
Happy Shirt @ Wildman
Favorite: Wildman Line: 1 O/U: 11
The sequel. The original was pretty great, so we can only hope this one will live up to our expectations. The stakes are high with an undefeated season for the winner and a possible 1-seed in the tournament. Happy Shirt is ranked over Wildman in the AP Poll, but Wildman is favored here. Happy Shirt’s offense has been better than Wildman’s, but Wildman’s defense has been better than Happy Shirt’s. This will be a defensive game.
Abraxas @ Das Boot
Favorite: Abraxas Line: 3 O/U: 15
Bronze medal game. Das Boot has been struggling in rank play. Even though Abraxas lost the last two games, they have been keeping their games competitive. It will be hard for DB’s defense to rebound – allowed 14 runs in two consecutive weeks – against the Abraxas lineup.
POOL 2
Hurtz @ Goats
Favorite: Hurtz Line: 2 O/U: 12
Goats will be aggressive this week as they are trying not to get shutout in rank play. If Hurtz win, the tie-breaker with LG and LM will make them second in the pool (I’m pretty sure). If they lose, they will be last.
Los Matadores 5 @ Love Garden 13
Two games last week, two comebacks for LG and they snagged the pool.
POOL 3
Red Lyon @ Chalmersiz
Favorite: Chalmersiz Line: 1 O/U: 16
Both teams going for the top spot in the 3s. They played similar games against Corksuckers and RoT.
Corksuckers @ Reign of Terror
Favorite: Reign Line: 3 O/U: 20
The RoT offense has slowed down since their Love Garden game back in week 5 – scored 6, 7, 7, 3 the last four weeks. If they don’t fix their offensive issues, Corksuckers could steal the win.
POOL 4
Afterparty @ Toe Pokes
Favorite: Afterparty!! Line: 2 O/U: 14
Toe Pokes can win this game if they get off to a fast start, but Afterparty!! will have a good enough defense to contain the damage. The way Toe Pokes won last week (and the two weeks before that) has put them on the radar. If teams were overlooking them before, they’re not now. TP win streak is up to 7, going for 8.
MUrda @ Screamers
Favorite: MUrda Line: 5 O/U: 13
Screamers will play better than last week, but it won’t be enough. MUrda is trying to snap their 4-game losing streak.
POOL 5
Dirty Mike @ Slowride
Favorite: Slowride Line: 1 O/U: 19
Coin toss game. When they played last year in division play Dirty Mike won 11-10. Slowride finally broke their 5-game skid last week and this week they are trying to break DM’s win streak (4).
Rats @ Liberty Hall
Favorite: Rats Line: 2 O/U: 20
Rat’s played in a stronger division and they were better than LH on both sides of the ball this year.
POOL 6
Rockets @ Ghosts
Favorite: Ghosts Line: 2 O/U: 16
The winner will score 9 runs.

These two are identical. For the season, BB runs scored – 68, runs allowed – 90. Dactyls runs scored – 74, runs allowed – 91. If I had to predict a game to go into extra innings, this would be it.
POOL 7
BP Tigers @ Free State
Favorite: Free State Line: 4 O/U: 16
Free State is getting over the bad luck they had in division play as they try to sweep the 7s.

Favorite: Jazzhaus Line: 6 O/U: 20
Jazzhaus don’t score a lot of runs – they have only scored 10 runs in a game once this season – but the $! defense is a sieve, so they have a good chance to hit double digits one more time.
POOL 8
West Coast @ Asteroid Head
Favorite: West Coast Line: 3 O/U: 12
West Coast has been sneaking by their opponents the last couple of weeks – winning by 1 run to Balls Deep and 2 runs to Harper Valley. One more and they sweep the 8s.
Harper Valley @ Balls Deep
Favorite: Balls Deep Line: 2 O/U: 11
Balls Deep got their first win of the season last week (nice job). This is Harper Valley’s last (and possibly best) chance to get a win this season (not counting the tournament).
