Sam made a fantastic catch to win the game. Awesome base running by Val! Turned some errors into a triple in the 6th. Eric scored in the 9th with aggressive base-running.

Betsy S. double play in 2nd to hold the run. Josh injured in 5th. Jake W is an untamed Stallion- needs to stop popping up when kicking 1st or 2nd.

Kenny gunned it to Lou at third and Lou made a one handed catch squeezing the ball. One of the most amazing catches I have ever seen. (Note written by Staci not the scorekeeper.:)

Ghosts' Megan burned L field for an RBI double.

Sam called out in 4th after discussion; 4 double-plays for AsteroidHEAD defensively; Pat left for injury in 6th; Parr opened his nose at home and stayed in.

7/21 - Rain delay bottom 2nd. 7/28 - Squids avoided a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 5th with some timely 'D'. Encroachment on rover gave Eli 2nd base - tying run bottom 8th.

Sam drilled Colin K (catcher) in the face w/a kick. Had to take some time for bloody nose. TP used to staunch bleeding. Offer of tampon was declined initially, but then accepted for superior blood absorption
